Cookies and browser choices

Your choice

Cookies and similar browser storage can support sign-in, security and optional features. Not every use requires consent: exceptions depend on its purpose. MyPorta keeps the optional features listed below off until you choose to allow them.

We record your versioned acceptance or rejection in this browser's local storage and treat it as valid for 180 days, then ask you to review it. An expired record is removed when you next use the site; local storage does not delete itself while the site is closed. This is MyPorta's review period, not a universal legal time limit. Clearing browser storage, using another browser or using another MyPorta website address may mean choosing again. Your choice is not synchronised through your account.

You can also load an individual Google map or YouTube video for the current view without remembering that permission. Moving to another page or changing the displayed media ends that one-time choice. Reopening cookie settings and rejecting optional features stops further loading; if optional code has already loaded, the page reloads to stop it. Save any unfinished work first.

Necessary storage

Clerk provides sign-in and session management. Cloudflare provides access protection, abuse prevention and security challenges. These services remain available when you reject optional features. Their session and security lifetimes depend on the service and configuration; we do not promise a single duration for them.

See Clerk's privacy information and Cloudflare's cookie information. Cloudflare's challenge cookie is conditional on the security features in use; it is not set by every Turnstile interaction.

MyPorta also remembers your cookie choice to respect it. A pending private save can use session storage so you can complete the action after signing in; it is removed when handled or when that browser session ends.

Optional features

• Google Maps: embedded interactive maps. Loading a map sends connection and browser information to Google and can involve its cookies.
• YouTube (Google): embedded property videos. Loading a video contacts YouTube and can involve its cookies and viewing information.
• uFurnish: shopping suggestions for property photographs. Enabling it loads the uFurnish SDK and shares the photograph and browser information with its shopping service.

These features are controlled separately in cookie settings. Their cookies have their own lifetimes, which may differ from our 180-day record of your choice. Read Google's cookie information, Google's privacy policy and uFurnish's privacy and cookie information. We cannot remove another website's cookies through MyPorta settings; your browser provides those controls.

The neighbourhood map also obtains map software from unpkg and map tiles from OpenFreeMap. Those requests share connection information with the services. This is separate from the Google map embeds; our neighbourhood-map code does not add an analytics tracker or browser-storage identifier.

Ordinary links to agents, publishers or other websites take you to services with their own privacy choices. MyPorta's settings do not control those websites.

Account choices

Your account's optional analytics and private recent-search preferences remain in Privacy & sharing. They are off by default and separate from browser media permissions. These cookie controls do not change them, your saved searches or your sharing decisions. MyPorta's current consumer app does not load a separate analytics provider.
